The Best things in Life are Free!!

I love, love, Shutterfly. Love it. I use their site several times a year. I have made photo books, thank you cards, birthday card and have just ordered regular prints. All have showed up on time or early, the order has always been correct and with fabulous quality. Shutterfly is running an amazing promo this month, 50 free holiday cards, go check it out.

I will say that as much as I love their photo book, I love their cards even more. I have made and sent tons of cards from their site and it is so quick, easy and cost efficient. I love to send thing to people that have meaning and these cards do just that. You can add your own pictures and text to the cute layouts. You can also send the cards straight to your loved ones. Light Pink and White

I made this cake for a church activity. It was super fun to make. I just don't get to decorate as much as I would like. It just calms me. I love it.

Roaches and Rats!!

This is taken at the end of the night, but these are the cupcakes I made for the night. There were also just plain with sprinkles, but the cockroaches and rat faces were my favorite. So fun to make. These are also from the Hello, Cupcake book.

Bows

Sometimes I venture into other crafts. I made these bowsfor Halloween. They are kind of art right? I had fun making them. They are nothing special but still fun to do.

Halloween Cupcakes

Here are the cupcakes I made for my sons preschool party. Green, vanilla cake with cream cheese frosting and crushed up Oreos.
Here is Jaba. I envisioned something way, way different and ended up with this. So I went with the above cupcake design.

Brown-Sugar Vanilla Cupcakes!

Brown-Sugar Vanilla Cupcakes

Ok, here are my thoughts on these sweets. This is a very heavy cake, it needs to be sliced thin or have something in the middle. A bite of just cake is a little much. They are really good warm, really good. This cake would be good cut into chunks and served with fruit and whipped cream (the good homemade stuff). Hmm, getting hungry again....

Bug Off!!

Here are the cupcakes. I have Hello Cupcake and What's New, Cupcake? and I let Joshie look through them and pick what he wanted. He wanted vanilla with bugs on top. I love those book. Anyway, these were fun to make. The Darth Vader candle is what Joshie wanted, his party really didn't have a theme.

Blueberry Buckle

If 5 cups of blueberries are wrong, I don't want to be right! I made this yummy blueberry buckle the other day, yummy.

I stumbled upon this blog one day (I think it is where I got the pumpkin butter recipe):
One Perfect Bite
She has some amazing recipes on there. We have yet to try one we don't like. Mmmmm blueberry buckle.

Birthday Cupcakes

They 'celebrated' my sons birthday at school today so I made cupcakes. The big ones were for the family we carpool with and the little ones are for his class. They were fun, easy and quick to make.

Cheesecake

Time to update again. I made these cheesecakes for Easter. So yummy and fun to make pretty.
